Got another mail worthy of a "WTF". Somebody in Human Resources must have read too much Dilbert:
[Name redacted] advised that after consultation with representatives of [the staff consultation committee], it was suggested to form 3 focus groups to following up on the areas with lowest scores in the last Staff Opinion Survey viz Training, Change Management and Job Satisfaction. [Name redacted] pointed out the last survey was conducted one year ago and that a new staff engagement survey with new tool was planned to commence in end August. The two surveys should be interfaced...
I don't know about you, but the message I got from that blob of text was that
more surveys will be conducted with different methodology until we get the favourable results we want.
