Today is the day I have accomplished all my goals for coming to Taiwan.
Woke up at 11am. Some people call that a waste of your precious time but that's how we enjoy vacations.
Tu Hsiao Yueh (度小月) is as great as I remember it. But I really really should have ordered the rice with minced meat (肉燥飯). Ah well, there'll be a 3rd visit.
On to the
National Palace Museum (故宮博物館). In extreme summary: Organised tours are an organised crime. In a little more verbosity: Organised tours are an organised crime, and ancient people had too much time on their hands.
Gotta find an excuse to pass through Shi Lin Station (士林站) again so I can haz an exkooz to buy anahduh onion pastry (蔥抓餅). It's just divine.
King Crab (紅蟹將軍) is not really remarkable. I feel silly for panicking over having to call up the place. Wouldn't want to change a thing though; sometimes those psychologists say you have to accept yourself for who you are and the next moment they say you have to overcome yourself to become a better person. Make your minds up, dammit.
