You also have to keep watching TV (and checking the Observatory's website while the TV is running ads) to see if they change any of the typhoon / rainstorm / flood / landslide / terrorism / alien landing warnings. That's a full time job in and of itself. Along with the terrible, terrible thought of having to scramble to work when the warnings are down, i.e. cramming into overloaded pubilc transport vehicles while fending off wet umbrellas and ignoring the stench of 100 grumpy, rain-soaked passengers.
